The UK set for bumper tourist year

Is the UK set for a bumper tourist year? Recent research from travel trade association ABTA* suggests so after revealing the UK is set to be British holidaymakers’ destination of choice in 2018, as 66% of the British population are already planning holidays at home.

With so many fantastic beauty spots, tourist attractions and events we can understand why people are gearing up for another year of exploring the British Isles. The UK leisure industry is sure to see a rise in sales of caravans and motorhomes and the Birmingham NEC Camping, Caravanning and Motorhome Show in February will be a major indicator of that.

Last year the Show saw thousands of people flock to see the latest innovations in the leisure industry from most major European manufacturers including Swift, Bailey and Lunar.
